July 2010 EdMUG Meeting

Once again we will be meeting one week later than usual on Tuesday the 27th of July at The Pear Tree on West Nicolson Street. We’ll start at 7.30pm and should finish up at 9pm.

If the weather permits we’ll grab a table in the beer garden, but the view from my window this morning (and for the past couple of weeks) suggests we’ll be indoors!

May 2010 EdMUG Meeting

After a one-month hiatus and pending confirmation of our new venue, we will be meeting one week later than usual on Tuesday the 25th of May at The Pear Tree on West Nicolson Street. We’ll start at 7.30pm and should finish up at 9pm.

We’re hoping that the weather will permit sitting outside, but failing that we’ll all be huddled in a corner of the bar with our Macs.

As usual we will have a selection of presentations and a chance to discuss your (predominantly Apple-related) experiences, issues and tips. We look forward to seeing you there!

The next EdMUG meeting will be on Thursday the 18th of February, again at the Squiz offices at 57-59 High Street, Edinburgh. 7.15pm for a 7.30 start. Please note that we’re meeting on Thursday instead of Tuesday this month, normal service will be resumed in March!

September 2009 EdMUG Meeting

The next meeting is on Tuesday 15th September. We have a new venue, kindly organised by newish member Paul Wheatley. His company, Squiz, have klndly offered us use of their training room, and it has a projector! The meeting will be at 7.15 for a 7.30 start as before. Directions below.

We have a couple of presentations to see, and there will be plenty time for anyone who wants to demo an app or anything at all, or ask questions etc. There will also be the usual Mac chat. If you would like to show something off or talk about something Mac related, please let us know on the mailing list.

A huge thanks to Paul and his company for allowing us to use their offices.

Directions from Paul: The exact address is 57-59 High Street, Edinburgh. We are opposite the Fudge Kitchen, above Geoffrey Tailor. If you are standing outside Geoffrey Tailor look to the right of the shop, there will be a close then a set of stone steps. if you go up the stone steps then up the red steps, through a glass door and continue up the red steps again you will be in our office.
