finder_black2.gifWelcome to EdMUG! The aim of the Edinburgh Mac User Group is to provide an online and face-to-face community for Mac users in Edinburgh and surrounding areas where they can find help, share knowledge and pool resources.
Are you new to the Mac or considering switching? Although moving from Windows has never been easier, there may be times where you could do with a little help or advice, and EdMUG is here for you! We all had to switch at some point, so be it on the mailing list or at one of the monthly meetings, please feel free to pop along with your questions.

clock2.gifMonthly Meet Ups: We hold regular meetings on the third Tuesday of every month, so please keep an eye out on the news blog, the wiki meetings section, or our email discussion list for further details.
Our meetings are currently held in the Baroque on Broughton St where like-minded individuals can talk Mac in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and since that’s such thirsty work, sampling of drinks is almost guaranteed.

bubble2.gifMailing List: By joining the EdMUG email discussion list you can keep up to date with group developments, ask for help with any problems or issues you’re having, or just chat with other Mac users in the Edinburgh area.
more hacky hidd text, boo hoo, why does wordpress not like two breaks?
To subscribe to the list simply follow the instructions on our email discussion list page.
and again, yet more hacky hidden text, boo hoo, any web developers out there?

think2.gifCommunity Wiki: Regular Mac user for some time but looking for a few hints and tips from other users? Recent or potential Windows switcher?
Why not head over to our new community wiki where we are starting to build a collection of tutorials, guides and other useful information. The wiki is specific to EdMUG and is created by EdMUG members for EdMUG members. Everyone is welcome (and actively encouraged) to contribute, and follow-on information from our upcoming meetings will be added to the wiki for later reference.
